so a new year of classes has begun. i was talking with nicki yesterday how it does not seem like we have been here for going on 4 years. but alas its the truth, and this year seems like it is going to try to kill be, but i promise i will not let it. so dont you fret!
this past week/end has been fairly interesting, starting with classes and the like and then going to a bar in sommerville on friday night for honkey tonk music, which was amazing, even though i was yawning the entire time, i really had a good time. the rest of the weekend included me reading massive amounts, it guess 400+ pages. but there was fun to be had as well, such as watching almost the entire first season of sex and the city, cooking french toast and garlic french fries (however not at the same time, one must spread out their consumption of foods which contain the word "french") and playing an intense game of scrabble last night.
hte boston film festival is going on, which i was just informed of recently. i would like to go see a film or two, but im not sure when this will occur. tom is back from his weekend at home, and im so looking forward to seeing him. yes, yes i am.
seeing as its beautiful outside,and ive been inside for everything but walking to campus and back again, i think its time for some sunshine.
